From the green meadows of El Rincon\u00edn, we can already see the ascent to the house of Rosario Acu\u00f1a (writer and journalist born in 1850, who was a defender of equality between men and women) and who gives her name to this walk. (word test)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"531\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/cantu%20a%20los%20dies%20fuxios_0.jpg\" alt=\"Cantu los d\u00edes fux\u00edos\" class=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"330\" style=\"text-align: center;display: block;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/cervigon%20senda.jpg\" alt=\"Senda del Cervig\u00f3n\" width=\"750\" height=\"451\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\">Past the house we see the tip of Cabo San Lorenzo with <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/directorio\/playa-de-penarrubia\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Playa de Pe\u00f1arrubia de Gij\u00f3n\/Xix\u00f3n\" rel=\"noopener\">the beach of Pe\u00f1arrubia<\/a><\/strong><\/span> at its feet. Next to the recreational area, in the autumn of 2003, the sculpture made by Joaqu\u00edn Rubio Cam\u00edn was inaugurated, called Castillo de Salas, whose name comes from the bulk carrier who ran aground 800 meters north of Campo Vald\u00e9s in 1986. The path, after being crossed by the asphalt road, zigzags up to the Cabo San Lorenzo Park, having two options, either to go up stairs or by the path.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<div style=\"text-align: center\">From the viewpoint, in the shape of a ship&#8217;s prow, we can see several sculptures such as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/directorio\/homenaje-galileo-galilei-xv\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Informaci\u00f3n sobre escultura Homenaje a Galileo Galilei XV en Gij\u00f3n\/Xix\u00f3n\" rel=\"noopener\">Homage to Galileo Galilei XV,<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in the lower part of the park, made by Amadeo Gabino in corten steel, and Germinator Landscape, in the same meadow, the work of Miguel \u00c1ngel Lombard\u00eda Canga that is open to any interpretation. We continue bordering the entire Cabo de San Lorenzo Park, climbing towards the Colina del Cuervo, already in the vicinity of the Chapel of Providence.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/playa%20%C3%B1ora.jpg\" alt=\"Mirador sobre la Playa de la \u00d1ora en Gij\u00f3n\/Xix\u00f3n\" width=\"1000\" height=\"600\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\">After flattening next to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/directorio\/playa-de-serin\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"playa de Ser\u00edn\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Ser\u00edn beach<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, you go down to the asphalt road that goes to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/directorio\/playa-de-estano\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Playa de Esta\u00f1o en Gij\u00f3n\/Xix\u00f3n\" rel=\"noopener\">Esta\u00f1o beach<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. After crossing the stream that pours its waters into this sandy area, a steep slope begins that brings us closer to the end of the path at La \u00d1ora beach, from which it is barely a kilometre away. In its final section, the walk enters a colorful ocalital (eucalyptus forest) with a spectacular viewpoint over <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/directorio\/playa-de-la-nora\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Playa de la \u00d1ora\" rel=\"noopener\">La \u00d1ora beach<\/a><\/strong>. We can return along the same path or link up with the path that, starting from La \u00d1ora beach, leads us to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gijon.es\/turismo\/senda-rio-nora\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"La Llorea\" rel=\"noopener\">La Llorea.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A tour of the coast of the eastern part of the municipality of Gij\u00f3n\/Xix\u00f3n.
