Monument to the Republic

It is a sculptural set of two pieces made of cast iron. One, circular and three metres in diameter, is seated on a cylindrical structure. On its surface are engraved symbols that take us back to ancestral cultures. They remind us of the Celtic tradition, but also the millenary Egyptian, the mysterious Mayan or Eastern cultures. The second element is a commemorative column, with undulating shapes that seem to have been sculpted by the wind. We observe at its base the face, shaped but without features, of a woman. In the crown, the most figurative profile of a bird that scans the horizon.
