TOURIST INFORMATION TEAM
The local Tourist Information service, known commercially as Infogijón, depends on Visita Gijón/Xixón.
In their two locations (permanent office in Casa Paquet and tourist information point in high season in Escalerona) they provide information and advisory services to visitors (and residents), being the best hosts in the city. But in addition, they also provide information about other areas of Asturias, sell merchandising, facilitate contact with accommodation, sell local tourist products such as the Gijón Goloso and are in charge of sealing and issuing the Pilgrim’s Credential and the Vía de la Plata Route Passport.
