Natural Monument of the Carbayera del Tragamón

The Carbayera de El Tragamón is one of the best examples of oak forests that remain today. It is a small forest crossed by the local road, to the south of which there is a group of old oaks that form a grove, where they are separated and there are no young specimens among them. To the north of the road the trees are closer together and there are younger specimens, along with other species such as plaganos, ash trees, willows and elderberries.
