Under the requirements of these standardsVisita Gijón/Xixónhas created a management system based on quality parameters, which is reviewed annually by a certifying entity authorized by theICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality)and independent, which reviews compliance with the standards and verifies that the entity works under the parameters of continuous improvement and the service standards set by the UNE and ISO standards leading to the Q mark.
In this way,Visita Gijón/Xixónseeks to lead the commitment to the quality of the destination, promoting the participation of tourism companies and services in theComprehensive Tourism Quality System in Destinationsnational program in whichGijón/Xixónparticipating since 2004.
