La Llorea Municipal Golf Course

The La Lorea Municipal Golf Course, a course that is located on the grounds of the old Granja de Lloreda. Nestled on a coastal plain, it rises about 100 meters above sea level, which is very close, it is divided into two parts by the National Highway 632, which crosses it.
THE COUNTRYSIDE
In the north zone are the first 9 holes, a 1st round that punishes players who open the ball; unlike the 9 holes in the south zone. Its design, made by Roland Favré, is therefore perfectly compensated.The best and most emblematic holes of the 1st round are hole 4, a par 4 of 406 meters with a very small green, without frontal obstacles but with many problems at the bottom and both sides; and hole 7, which is a good par 4 of 405 meters. On the 2nd round we find the two best par threes of the course: hole 13 of 188 meters and a wide green but very short at the bottom, and hole 16 another par 3 of 207 meters that is played practically all year round with headwinds. In short, it is a course that is not excessively long, although it is technical, which will be enjoyed by golfers of all levels.Among other services, the course has a course and practice greens, croquet court, gym, indoor room, hotel, cafeteria/restaurant, shop and golf school.
GOLF SCHOOLOne of the essential strategic objectives in the activity of the facilities, since its commissioning, is to encourage and promote the practice of golf among the youngest. Two Golf Sports Schools are currently in operation, one on each course. Welcoming more than one hundred young players under 18 years of age, young people who, through the consequent agreements and depending on their age and level of play, access the course completely free of charge. The Schools themselves organize, throughout the year, competitions adapted to the level of the students with different difficulties and routes; competitions also free of charge.
