Joaquín Rubio Camín, 1992. Concrete
A sculpture made up of nineteen identical cubic blocks, one on top of the other, pointing in all directions, like an old vertical map of routes, at a junction of roads. Obelisk is 14 m tall and resembles a staircase that leads nowhere, if not all. Staircase in motion, rotating on a main axis that turns concrete into light, almost volatile matter.
