Peñarrubia Beach

Located in the eastern part of Gijón/Xixón, it is accessed by the GI-2 road to La Providencia, or by following the El Rinconín-La Ñora coastal path.
It is approximately 500 metres long and has a sparse sandy area, surrounded by high cliffs that contain an important fossil wealth.
The influx to this beach is variable, and it is frequented by nudists-naturists.
Bathing is advised with caution, being more recommended on the right bank of the beach, due to the rocky bottom.
The access is urbanized.
