Infogijón
The Tourist Information Office, Infogijón, is a municipal service and for this reason official complaints or claims that are submitted against this service are not submitted through the traditional Official Complaints Sheet nor can they be submitted in the office facilities, unlike what happens with private company claims.
In this case, it is necessary to submit the claim to the suggestions, complaints and thanks service of the Gijón/Xixón City Council. This way ensures that the contents object of the complaint (also suggestions or thanks) reach the Complaints and Suggestions Commission and that they comply with the provisions of the Action Protocol for the collection and monitoring of suggestions and complaints of the City Council of Gijón/Xixón.
In compliance with this protocol, there are two ways to file claims:
- Digital, through the municipal website:
+ The user who wants to make this type of official complaint or claim may access the service by clicking here.
- In person, at the citizen service offices:
+ The claim can be presented at any of the citizen care offices of the City Council of Gijón/Xixón.

This system is valid for complaints, claims, suggestions or thanks that you want to send in relation to the services offered from the Tourist Information Office and temporary information points, such as those comments derived from the information service, the sale of products in the offices and the attention received.
This system is not valid for filing official complaints about products and services offered by private companies and services (hotels, restaurants, shops, active tourism,…). For these claims you can consult our specific sections here.
